Disabled Visitor Access
Coronation Street The Tour is accessible for all disabilities.
We extend a warm welcome to all visitors, but due to the nature of the tour we do have a restriction on the number of wheelchair users that can be accommodated in any one group. We ask that wheelchairs users and any other visitors with special requirements please call 0800 988 4440 to make their booking.
The tour is all on one level with a fair amount of walking and due to the cobbled street, the floor surface can be uneven. It is strongly advised to wear flat shoes for the visit.
The following accessibility facilities are in place:
- Wheelchair accessible
- Trained staff on hand at all times.
- Assistance dogs are welcome.
- Adapted toilets.
- There is no parking on site, but public car parks are available nearby.
You can view a copy of our Access Statement here.
You won't go hungry or miss that refreshing drink during your tour. Visit the ‘Crew Kitchen’ and enjoy a fantastic range of food and drink or look out for our 'Crew Kitchen' vans that will be located around the street.
Pick up that unique souvenir of your visit to the Street or perhaps a quirky gift for friends and family. The shop is situated in the Coronation Street Medical Centre, along Rosamund Street where Corrie's medical dramas were recorded and where many of the Streets characters have had some close calls. Don’t forget to purchase your souvenir photo taken on the set of the Rovers Return!
